With the indicators of the epidemic in green, Emmanuel Macron specifies the deconfinement of his government to return to a semblance of normality.

To achieve this, the weekly defense councils disappear and the Councils of Ministers abandon the gauge of six people.

Deconfining the state.

This is the mission given by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, a month after the start of deconfinement for the French.

To get there, he wants to meet his fellow citizens by touring the country next week and restore some semblance of normalcy.

Until now, the state of health emergency had changed the situation, giving exceptional powers to the President of the Republic but also to the Prime Minister.

To restore the classic organization of the state, Emmanuel Macron is taking symbolic measures that could also mark the real beginning of the end of the health crisis.

The weekly health defense councils are disappearing.

From now on, they will only take place if the situation requires it.

End of the Council of Ministers by videoconference

Another change at the Élysée, the end of the official gauge during the Council of Ministers.

So far, only six participants were allowed.

Last Wednesday, they were eight to be present alongside Emmanuel Macron and Jean Castex.

The objective is also to be able to receive all the ministers again around the table at the Elysee Palace, at the same time eliminating videoconferences during these meetings.
