1. Politician Kim Woong-eun was the son of the court of the prosecutor's office, and the man's midwife was the former chief of the country's Min Jeong.

When the fatherland pushed for the adjustment of the prosecutor's right to investigate, this man was the chief of the criminal policy at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, who was in charge of the prosecution's affairs.

Kim Woong persistently and fiercely opposed the proposal to adjust the power of the prosecution to strengthen the power of the police without the power of the prosecution.

It wasn't because the prosecutors couldn't let go of their privileges, but because they were convinced that the measures the regime pursued would harm the interests of the people.

At that time, fierce hostility toward the motherland was buried in this man's way of speaking about what happened with the motherland.

“You don’t have to call me, but you called me to the Blue House meeting. After talking for a while, the chief of Choguk told me not to oppose the government’s work. "Why are you scattering documents?" He said, "Yes, all documents are made by me," he said, and he kept saying, "Don't go against the government's work while carrying these things." 'Senior! I am the head of the prosecutor's criminal policy. This position is asking the people to oppose the proposal to adjust the investigative power that is unfavorable to the people. When I heard that, the meeting ended when the chief father of Korea said, "Let's stop meeting." Since then, they hated me so much."

The memories of the motherland were quite different. It is true that there was a meeting with the prosecutors at the Blue House regarding the adjustment of the investigative powers of the prosecutor's office, but he said that he had never called Kim Woong on purpose. At that time, the prosecution's partner was Deputy Chief Prosecutor Bong-wook, and Kim Woong was only present as one of several attendees. Kim Woong, the participant, said that this person may have spoken because it was not the object of his interest, but he did not remember what he said. However, he was well aware that Kim Ung was strongly opposed to the proposal to adjust the investigative powers, and he said that he heard the story of Kim Ung, which means that the chief would work as the chief and he would do his own work through anti-corruption secretary Park Hyeong-cheol.

-Are there any facts that told you not to object to what the government is doing?

"I never said that. In order to criticize the lobbying against the prosecution's persistent reconciliation of investigative power, the Prosecutors' Office and the higher level agencies of the National Police Agency, the Ministry of Justice and the Minister of Public Security, are in consultation with the participants. No, he pointed out why the prosecution lobbyed for a member of the National Assembly and private data went out to the media."

The motherland did not hide his displeasure, saying that opposition politician Kim Woong attacked him in all cases had political intentions.

Although the memories of the two are mixed, it is clear that Kim Ung was fiercely opposed to the proposal to adjust the investigative power of the speculum and eventually left the prosecution because of this.

"While going through such a thing, these people do not choose any means and methods...I was thinking of writing a resignation, but when Minister Chu Mi-ae came in and took another drink, he left the prosecution.

Seungmin Yoo reached out to him to do politics together. After a few days of contemplation, Yoo Seung-min took the hand that came out and was elected after running for Songpa Gap in last year's general election. This is the rough story of Kim Ung, who has never thought about doing politics, and stepped into the political world.

What is happening in the power of the people right now is seldom believable. In the party presidential contest, a gust of newcomers continues. The protagonist is Lee Jun-seok, who took the lead in the preliminary contest following the first place in the polls, but Kim Woong was the first to catch the fire. This person's initial approval rate was close to 10%, and maintaining this approval rate for a while became the frenzy of generational change. Although it was cut off in the preliminary contest announced on the 28th, the initial race of a political rookie named Kim Woong was enough to attract people's attention.

2. I met this person on the morning of Monday, May 17th. I heard from the secretary of the lawmaker's office that even when he served as a prosecutor, he visited the 5.18 graveyard in Gwangju every May. My ears flashed.

-Do you really visit Gwangju every May?

“I went to Gwangju almost every year if I wasn't in Korea or had special circumstances. When I worked in Seoul or something like this, I went to the weekend with 5.18 hours. In our modern history, Gwangju is the most significant event in our modern history. Used to engrave."

One action tells more than a hundred words. Although my hometown was Yeosu, not far from Gwangju, I didn't stop by lightly on the way to my hometown. The fact that he visited Gwangju every year as an incumbent prosecutor shows what kind of life this person has lived and what kind of life he wants to live. Fr. Jovio, who first claimed the theory of helicopter shooting by the martial law forces during the May 18 Uprising, was the chief priest of the church where this man attended.

-There are many people who do not forget the historical meaning of'Gwangju', but there are not so many people who deliberately visit Gwangju every year.

"It was such a big event for me. The first place I attended the Gwangju Uprising Photo Exhibition was the Jeonjeon-dong cathedral I attended. I remember from 1984-85, but our church would have been the first time except for college. Fr. Jobio's Yakju was just in May. I saw myself drinking and suffering, and I heard a lot of stories at that time, so I had an indirect experience of Gwangju through Father Cho."

From Honam, I wondered why people who visit Gwangju every May are in a conservative party.

3. He had a frail constitution carrying all kinds of diseases. In elementary school, he suffered a car accident and suffered a leg injury and spent 6 months in the hospital. Even after being discharged from hospital, I went on crutches for almost a year. He was almost like bullying in school. This experience in adolescence seems to have had a considerable influence on the formation of this person's worldview.

“I couldn't exercise and I couldn't fit anywhere. I went to middle school and had surgery again, so I was extremely weak. When that happens, I have to go down the bottom of the hierarchy within the school. I've been through that experience throughout middle school. "

It was a natural choice to become an athletic student after entering the Department of Politics at Seoul National University. When there was a protest in the school, he was 187 centimeters tall and skinny, and he was easily seen by others. At this time, he expressed himself as a'flick socialist'. His scoop car, bought by his father, who was able to afford it, had a special purpose.

"I carried thinner and gasoline in the trunk of my car (to create a flame), so the smell of gasoline was always vibrating in the car."

In the early 1990s, Gyeongsil-ryun, led by Pastor Kyung-seok Seo and others, emerged as a new civilian movement. Seoul National University also created a student movement group that shares the same relationship with Gyeongsil-ryun, and Kim Woong was a key member of this group. Due to the collapse of socialism in Eastern Europe, students who argued for reform rather than the student movement that talked about the existing leftist revolution appeared, and Kim Woong also sympathized with this claim. When talking about reform, not revolution, maybe the seeds of conservatism have been planted in this person's mind since then.

“The socialist countries have already collapsed, and I changed my mind while listening to Professor Park Se-il's lecture.

Except for the story of the student movement, there seems to be quite a few stories in college, but I didn't necessarily tell the memories in detail at that time. It was a time when he was annoyed and wandered without convinced that what he was doing was the right thing to do. He graduated in 1993, six years after entering the school, after repeated leave of absence due to mental wandering and health problems.

“I worked at Kyungsil-ryun, and created a college student’s association in the university, and sent my juniors to the general student council elections. I didn’t do anything, so I started playing basketball. After graduating from college, there was no civic movement, neither this nor that, and basketball. I was doing it, but my friend came to me and told me about the books and problem books I should look at, telling me to prepare for the bar exam."

It was a time when I ate only one meal a day and smoked three cigarettes. Looking at her skinny self in the mirror, she thought that it was not a human figure, so the reluctance to go to many places and moving mainly at night would not be due to dissatisfaction with her appearance. It could also mean that you were ashamed to reveal your life to others, not just your own self.

Anyway, this man's college days were far from his healthy, twinkling youth. It was a time when I was sick of my body and my heart, and I thought of myself as a weak and marginalized person. In those days, he described himself as a bad guy. On the surface, since I was from Seoul National University with the youngest son of a rich family, I think it would be a life far from being alienated or discriminated against, but I was sensitive to such issues.

-Was there any special occasion for you to have compassion for minorities?

"Since I lived as a bad man for 1-2 years in the past, I can't get away from it. If I live regularly, eat well, and exercise hard, I'll get better, but it's hard to get out of the chain. I know how irresponsible people are."

He mentioned that he was from Jeolla-do several times in the middle of the interview.

It means that being from Honam has an important meaning in the process of living.

"The most shocking thing I've ever heard was that of an air conditioner or air purifier A/S. When he went to work, he acted like a person who couldn't speak. Why? But if you don't say anything, you can boil even a ramen. Some people say that they are Jeolla-do people, and there are things that have been damaged in this fair society, but people who say that have not experienced such an experience, so you cannot know the alienation and discrimination. ."

The military was exempted for having lung surgery as a child.

For a while after graduating from college, this man lived in Gosiwon, opened his eyes without reading books, and when he got up, he went to the basketball court and spent the whole day playing basketball with his friends.

He said that he spent more than a year.

I felt that I would become a nuisance in my life in this way, so I broke up with my friends who lived together as an excuse to prepare for the exam at the same exam.

4. I didn't hear from the beginning that he was a competent prosecutor. I was told that I was rather incompetent. I was told by my boss that'you are not qualified for prosecution' because of continuing to release the arrested suspects, and at the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, where I was appointed for the first time, the nickname'Dangcheong (當廳)' was created because the job performance was the worst. I couldn't drink well, so I was more comfortable with mixed alcohol and rice, and I hated drinking. He was a'Mojiri' prosecutor who wasn't able to adapt well to the culture of the prosecution who was proud of drinking bomb wine and discussing the world's trend. When I was in office, I couldn't go near the special and public security departments, and I went around the criminal department. It was certainly not a good prosecutor, but it was a sincere and persistent prosecutor. It didn't take long to realize that he had a talent as a prosecutor.

The driving force behind today's Kim Woong is the 2018 Civil War, written by Lee. This book is famous enough to be made into a drama, but it starts with the story of'Swordsman Kim Woong' and ends with the story of'Human Kim Woong'. The figure of this person depicted in the Prosecutor Civil War is quite different from that of a typical prosecutor. It is not the appearance of a special department prosecutor who fights off evil, nor is it the appearance of a'prosecutionist' who is confronting the regime. This is the story of this man's scammer. There are no names of big suspects that can be known just by naming them. There are grim but clever, ordinary but cunning and sometimes outrageous scammers. There are few cases that have been featured in the media, but once caught, it is so interesting that there is no way to not read it to the end.

The Prosecutors' Office is a place where humans' bare faces are exposed. He learns life and awakens the world, witnessing countless ugly, mean, and fragile human figures. Maybe it's because I spent nearly 20 years in such a place, so this person doesn't seem to have anything like fantasy. It is only a cool realist appearance. He is the one who believes that when giving advice, you should remove your affection and stab it clearly and painlessly, as if reaching your heart with a knife. For example, let's take a look at the story told to a young woman who fell into a hellish bog after being trapped by a fraudster who wanted to make her a model.

"Soomin said he didn't want punishment for the scammers if only the videos posted on the Internet were removed. Then he asked,'This will be forgotten sooner and will soon get better.' The more you try to forget, the deeper your wounds will become..." <During the Swordsman Civil War>

He is a person who has fought numerous battles. The people this man dealt with were people of different worldviews, armed with weapons of evil and shields of cunning. Not to mention these scammers, there is no shameful sympathy for the victims either. Do not believe in human goodwill. People who say justice by mouth, and so many groups and lawyers, do not believe either. A person who believes Machiavelli's words that noble virtues are rewarded only as ideals and not in reality.

5. He is a person who is united with a semi-golferous temperament. I was told if I would act as a prosecutor with such a pure-looking face, but it was both a semi-bone test and a steel-bone test. When I was appointed to the Incheon District Prosecutor's Office as a first-time prosecutor, I went on a group outing to the district prosecutor's hometown. At the time, the prosecutor was preparing to run for general election in his hometown. While giving a toast to each department, it was the turn of the department to which this person belonged, and the manager gave the toast to this person. He said he didn't know why he didn't do such an event in the hall and came to such a place a hundred kilometers away.

"People are not stupid. I don't know why the residents there are doing the Incheon District Prosecutors' Outing there. I know, but who would trust the prosecutors' decision if the prosecutors say no to the prosecutor and say something about it?" But because the seniors are still, a first-time prosecutor like me does it. The thing that guarantees the status of prosecutors under the law is that when they do, they say their voice and tell them to keep their beliefs.

In 2007, two former Presidents Doo-hwan Chun and Tae-woo Roh were the chief prosecutors of the Justice Review Office of the Ministry of Justice when controversy arose over the saddle issue of the National Cemetery. According to the related law, if there is a criminal record of murder or civil war bribery, it is impossible to saddle a national cemetery. However, at the time, the head of the legal affairs office instructed the two people to consider allowing them because they were pardoned, but this person did not bend the position of impossibility until the end. The head of the Justice Department, who was angry, shouted why he was so opposed.

“If I do that, I replied that I can't because I think I'll regret it when I die. He's the one who laughs and gets angry when he gets angry, but then it really explodes. "Go out and oppose it!"

The price for defending his beliefs was not high. He was dispatched to the Suncheon branch office, far from Seoul, and left the enemy there for six years. It was actually a guiyangsal. The head of the Justice Department, who exploded his anger at him, succeeded as the Prosecutor General of the Ministry of Justice and then the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office. Thanks to the senior prosecutors who still cherish their juniors who are full of resilience, they endured the time of trial by attending training in the United States and dispatching external organizations during this period.

The prosecution is literally a Pomsaeng Pom company organization. It is an organization with half the form, or 99%. When a pending issue breaks out, the culture of largely writing with a real name and throwing resignation is a representative example of the culture of Pomsaeng Pomsa of the prosecution. This person is also a person who will live in Pom and die of Pom. The writing that I wrote while leaving the prosecution was a topic not only at the prosecution but also outside the prosecution.

“…Family of the prosecutors, don't dwell on those greetings. Rebel against feudal orders. We are democratic citizens. Even if you obey ugliness or scorn, all you get is a fleeting film. Instead, it leaves a dirty name for a lifetime. Don't forget, in the end we remain by name. I am leaving with a joyful heart. Thank you for allowing me to leave with pride at this time when I was awarded the national medal for fighting living power.”

This person still lives with a prosecutor's heart and works in politics with the attitude of working for the prosecution. If this is true, I think it's uncomfortable to jump in boldly and take advantage of Ilshin first. He said he would give up his current district if he became the party's representative. This is the way it expresses the dedication and sacrifice to the party. He said that it has been just a year since he was elected as a member of the parliament, and there are three years left for the next general election. Who will guarantee him the next nomination.

-Do you have any plans to do politics for a long time?

"I don't think it's going to be long. I think new blood should continue to be transfused, but how long will I be new blood. When parliamentarians become the goal of Daseon, it will be miserable. If I think my goal or vision has been reached, I will continue politics. I don't think there is a reason."

He said that no one welcomed his running for the party. The first line is the same as the first line, and the middle line is the same as the senior lawmakers.

“If the first line suddenly comes out, it’s uncomfortable for everyone. The same first line is uncomfortable and the second line is uncomfortable. I see. I have a lot of enemies, but I haven't lived thinking of tomorrow."

Politics as if running a hundred meters. There seemed to be no intention of running a full marathon course. He said he had no tomorrow, no yesterday, only today. If he can show the people the change in the people's strength through the party presidential election, he has fulfilled his role with it. This man's words sounded firmly, but it sounded hastily.

6. For a long time, the Democratic Party, who has been a member of the Democratic Party, has a regional connection, academia, and a career in activism. If this person chooses a party, it seems natural for the Democratic Party. The people called'brothers' are the people who are dominated by the Democratic Party. Why is such a person the power of the people, not the Democratic Party?

"People's Power People are convinced and ashamed when they point out wrongdoings. But Democrats don't. They seem to think that if they admit their faults, everything will fall." , Saenuri Party did more when it was the ruling party','You have been examined and changed' I reacted like this, but I was very distracted."

This man's explanation was long and detailed as to why it wasn't the Democratic Party. If I shorten his long explanation to a word, the Democratic Party has changed. He said the current Democratic Party is not the former Democratic Party that made his heart beat. Disappointment with the current ruling powers triggered by the conflict over the reconciliation plan for prosecutors' right to investigate, poor goodwill and resentment to the behavior of people shouting progress only with their mouths led this man to the Conservative Party, but listening to the candlelight rally, in this man's head, from quite early on. I thought that there might have been a sprout of reward.

-Have you ever attended a candlelight meeting?

“I went there once. I was wondering if this would grow or not, so I went.-You did

n't agree with the cause of the rally?

” I wasn't interested in politics. During the prosecution of the Ministry of Public Security, I was only interested in whether the rally would be big or not." A

long conversation continued over the value of pay. Taking responsibility for those who could not take care of themselves, the person who won the first place in the competition He explained that it is conservatism that does not have everything, but gives opportunities to those who do not rank first. Why is such a value of conservatives alone, and whether such is not pursuing progress as well?

His face as a conservative is clearly evident in the votes of the National Assembly, not when he speaks unripe theories in abstract language. When 252 lawmakers voted in favor of a bill that reinforced the sentence for child abusers in connection with the case, Jung-in, who was a victim of public resentment, the man alone threw a vote against it. The main reason for the opposition is that it is not a good practice to change the law to increase the sentence. Although the bad comments ran'exorbitantly' as a politician who doesn't know the public sentiment and is less sensitive, he doesn't bend his convictions.

"This time, the same thing happened and the child died. Jung In passed the law, but what changed? It doesn't work (to raise the sentence). I'm fooling the people with that. Talking as if the lawmakers were doing a lot of work.

It is a person who believes that it is irresponsible for a politician to unconditionally comply with the demands that the public wants. It is said that right or wrong should not be decided just by the volume of the voice

. After becoming a member of the National Assembly, I was told that '0 cases were seriously progressed' because I did not propose a single bill, but the police recently proposed a bill to remove the authority related to information.

"A good legislator is not a lawmaker, but a legislator who tries to prevent new laws. Some Democrats boast that they have initiated 1,200 bills so far in their legislative reports. Is the bill that makes it in balance with other laws? Most of them are presentational, performance-building bills."

He said that if something happens, you shouldn't think you've done your job by creating a law in this way and raising the sentence. He explained that it is conservatism to emphasize that there are always side effects in changing institutions. His head nodded to this explanation.

"Every grass is said to be poisonous. Likewise, all laws have provisions that are poisonous to the people. It is a protection clause for some, but a barrier for some. When there are more laws, only the lawyers get better."

I visit various internet communities from time to time to grasp the thoughts of young people. He said he learns a lot in such a place.

“(If you go to a community like that), it seems that people like politicians who swear and hate them for you because they're so angry right now. But what you feel when you see them is that you can't do what people want. For example, In places like Kleeang, Bobae, and MLB, FM Korea is the same, but when I say'I love Kim Woong' and'I'm so cool', I think it's time to quit politics, because that means I've lost my focus.”

People say they want the truth all the time, but they believe it's only what they need to be angry with. That's why you need to discern and listen to the voices of the public. The attitude of believing that you should listen to the voices of the public, but not ride on or inspire them is also a conservative figure.

He does not spare harsh criticism of the media.

"During my prosecutor's life, I rarely saw the media accurately report on the substance of the case, and I saw only the really stimulating parts of the case. Even though it is not the essence of the prosecution's investigation announcement, it leads to the most acute conflict at that time. I saw something. Even though there was an obvious misinformation, I never saw any corrections after that."

-Do you think that is the essence of the media? Or do you think it is a characteristic of Korean media?

"In fact, before that, the prosecution also had a hatch and controversy in the media. Before the investigation, people were branded as bad and stigmatized. "

7. The reported amount of property is 120 million won, which is the lowest among members of the National Assembly. My father was a local man who had been a member of the community, where he became the head of the Shinshin Bank, and he was a wealthy enough to buy a car when he was a college student. After becoming a prosecutor, my father stopped supporting this man. I lived in a private house and lived on a monthly rent for a while. I am living in a charter now.

-Why are you so small?

“I sent my wife and daughter to study abroad while I was doing the test. I had to pay for it with a civil servant's salary, so would I have money? I had a debt, but I paid it back with an honorary severance pay. I don't collect money. My mother did. No matter how hard the wall is, water doesn't collect on the wall."

My sister in the United States struggled for four years, and this man paid for it. He said there were circumstances in which he could not ask for help from his father. I don't think my younger sister who helped me like that is from this world. Neither the story of my younger sister nor the story of my wife, who recently settled in college, nor did I try to reveal my personal history in detail.

When I first met at the House of Parliament, this man's outfit came into my eyes first. He wore sneakers and a combination suit. Born in 1970, I'm 52 years old this year, and I looked much younger because of the dress.

-It seems that I have rarely seen a person wearing a suit suit. Are you wearing that on purpose?

“People's Power When it comes to members of the National Assembly, you always have a set of clothes. Everything from hairstyle to shoes is the same format, but I want to get away from it. Yeouido has its own way of thinking and Yeouido has its own culture. I don't think I have to do politics. I always question the norm and think that it plays a role in raising the question of'Is this true?' I try to behave differently from others.”

During the prosecution, I never wore shoes, and I often wore torn jeans with knees coming out. I removed the prosecutor's nameplate from the room. He is a person who constantly doubts the norms of the organization to which he belongs and tries to create new cracks. That is why a person who would not be a bit strange even if armed with the armor of the liberals dared to enter the conservative clan. This man's challenge to lead a change in conservative by throwing himself was cut off in the contest and ended in a breeze, but he did not even fail to play the role of a swallow informing spring.

*This interview was conducted on May 17th and 21st twice in the form of a 2:1 interview with Editorial Writer Yang Man-hee at the National Assembly Hall.
