The infection control doctor tightens the general rules of conduct and especially when it comes to travel.

- My proposal is that for the next 14 days we waive all travel that can be waived, says Anders Nystedt.

This now applies in Norrbotten:

  • Refrain from all travel within and outside Norrbotten, which is not absolutely necessary.

  • If you have to travel, for example at work, carry out the journey in an infectious manner.

  •  Avoid carpooling if possible.

- Going to work together is smart in other times, but not right now, says Anders Nystedt.

No exceptions

In other respects, Anders Nystedt presented a series of general advice in which he emphasized that people from Norrbotten should keep their distance from others and avoid congestion in the city, the grocery store and in public transport.

The advice and restrictions that Anders Nystedt talked about during Friday's press conference include:

• Keep your distance, stay at home if you are ill, get tested.

• Really limit your contacts.

Only hang out with family members.

• Avoid traveling within and outside the county unless absolutely necessary.

• Work from home if possible.

• Plan when you shop and do not shop unnecessarily.

- The general advice applies to EVERYONE, which I do not think everyone is aware of.

They also apply to those who have immunity, those who have received a dose or two.

You can still infect others even if you are vaccinated, says Anders Nystedt.
