This was reported on the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

The department explained that the increase in the time to complete the procedures is associated with an increase in the total number of requests from airlines.

It is noted that "the regulation of air traffic flows will be carried out by the Russian air traffic services in accordance with the established rules set out in the Russian Aeronautical Information Collection."

The Federal Air Transport Agency also reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian airlines performed 134 flights using the airspace of Belarus, and European airlines "performed 113 flights using the airspace of Belarus and 53 flights on alternative routes."

Earlier, Austrian Airlines announced that it canceled a similar flight on Thursday due to the refusal of the Russian side to adjust the flight plan bypassing Belarus.

The Austrian Foreign Ministry called on Russia to immediately clarify the situation and "no longer interfere with free air traffic" with Europe.

Later it became known that Russia had given permission to the Austrian airline Austrian Airlines to carry out on Friday, May 28, a passenger flight from Vienna to Moscow bypassing Belarus.
