Lavrov announced Russia's readiness to normalize relations with the EU

“We reaffirmed our readiness to normalize relations with the European Union on the understanding that we will conduct business on the basis of equality, mutual respect, seeking a balance of interests, and not on the basis of unilateral actions and preconditions,” RIA Novosti quoted Lavrov as saying.

Earlier, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell, upon his arrival at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the 27 states of the community in Brussels, assessed the relations between Russia and the EU.

In turn, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas announced the readiness of the European Union for dialogue with Russia.
