The suspect of having attacked a police officer with a knife this Friday in the French city of La Chapelle-sur-Erdre (near Nantes) has been arrested.
Three officers suffered arm and hand injuries
during the arrest of the man who had attacked a municipal police hours earlier at the police station in this small town near Nantes.

The stabbed officer, seriously wounded, was attacked in the La Chapelle-sur-Erdre gendarmerie on Friday morning.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the incident is being investigated as terrorism.
Up to
80 police officers and two helicopters
have been deployed to this town.
"Avoid the sector and strictly respect the instructions of the police," the national police had warned on Twitter.
The colleges and institutes were closed for several hours.
Several police officers have been killed in France since 2012 in various attacks, most committed in the name of jihad.
