Kulturhuset Spira has not had permission to receive audiences since November.

Instead of engaging in cultural life, staff have helped with other chores in the municipality.

Now during phase 4, pianists have been on site and played for those who will be vaccinated.

- Many spontaneously felt that they wanted to contribute and help, we have a whole orchestra in the house and lots of musicians who are talented and longed for their audience, says Nina Marjavaara, PR manager at Kulturhuset Spira.

As the health center Läkarhuset is too crowded in its premises, Spira was able to offer space in the large culture house so that people can keep their distance from each other.

Vaccinators are located in the cloakroom on the ground floor and next to the entrance, those who are newly vaccinated can sit and rest for 15 - 30 minutes and listen to music.

- We have so many who will get vaccinated and then we want to contribute to their time here in the house, many have longed for live music, says Nina Marjavaara.

Has anyone gotten mad and asked you to stop playing music?

- No one I have heard, on the contrary, you go forward and say thank you, says Nina Marjavaara.
