- If we look at the most fragile groups, 96 percent of all the elderly, 65 years and older have started their vaccination and 50 percent are fully vaccinated, says Tina Mansson Söderlund, vaccine coordinator in the Gävleborg Region.
When it comes to people who are 18 years and up, 54 percent have received a first dose.

Challenge to vaccinate in the summer
172,000 doses have been given so far and 19.1 percent in Gävleborg have been vaccinated.
The vaccine coordinator wishes that there would be more vaccines so that more people can be vaccinated before the summer.
- Vaccinating in the summer means many challenges, one is to have enough staff.
Then I think it can be problematic to book a vaccine, because people may want to do other things than stay at home and fit vaccination time, says Tina Mansson Söderlund.
