"In the fall, the State Duma will be amended to the legislation banning the use of non-recyclable plastic," the press service said.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Victoria Abramchenko spoke about the preparation of amendments to the legislation prohibiting the use of non-recyclable and hard-to-recover materials.

According to her, we are talking about colored plastic, plastic tubes, cotton swabs and disposable plastic dishes.

In April, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov said that by the end of 2020, the export of plastic goods from the capital increased by 4.5% and amounted to almost $ 199 million. The share of the capital in the all-Russian supplies of plastic goods abroad amounted to 15.7%.
