May 27, 2021 Tibetan monks can help get humans to Mars.

Millennial Tibetan practices can contribute to the interaction of human beings with the environment of the red planet.

Yuri Bubeev, head of the Department of Psychology and Psychophysiology of the Institute of Medical and Biological Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, admitted in an interview with the Russian press that he had conducted a series of scientific expeditions to the ancient Buddhist monasteries of Tibet.

The aim was to solve the problem of human survival in extreme conditions, including long-lasting space flight, resistance in the small spaces of the space capsule with insufficient resources, the resistance of the human body to radiation.

The solution would be a sort of "hibernation", anabiosis: a state of reduced vital activity of the organism, a technique of which the Tibetan monks are absolute masters through meditation.

The induction of astronauts into a state of "prolonged sleep" during the flight would allow to obtain the inhibition of the metabolism, the organism will use less of its resources, which will probably increase its resistance to radiation.

Psychologically, there will also be benefits from a long period of "hibernation" - the astronauts will be less tired than each other, there will be no interpersonal conflicts.

Buddhist monks are unmatched in achieving altered states of consciousness.

Since 2017, with the consent of the Dalai Lama, Yuri Bubeev has made 3 trips to Tibet. The most interesting practices were the altered states of consciousness. These states have been achieved through hours of meditation, isolation and monotonous mantra chanting, during which a deep concentration of thoughts is achieved. This was closer to the states of consciousness that interested the team of Russian scientists, thanks to which the metabolism can be changed.

Russian scientists studied the electrical activity of the brains of the most advanced practicing monks. Of the 100 volunteer monks, 8 were chosen for experimentation.

In the course of research, a scientific discovery was made: the meditator's brain can completely disconnect from external stimuli.

The Dalai Lama has confirmed that the technique similar to anabiosis is also in the arsenal of the monks of different monasteries. It is called "delok". There are not many who master it. An absolutely healthy person puts himself in a semi-lethargic state, anabiosis, and after some time returns to regular vitality. Such a practice would be ideal for flights to Mars.

The Dalai Lama has agreed to share the "delok" practice with Russian scientists, but first they must reach a level of understanding of meditation techniques to make a transfer from the idealistic to the material plane. A peak that seems unattainable for now.
