"There was a useful exchange of views and assessments of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the course of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement in the context of the work of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs," RIA Novosti quoted the ministry as saying.

It is noted that Russia reaffirmed its call for a peaceful solution to all emerging problems between the parties.

Also, the Foreign Ministry said that Russia is ready to continue to provide possible assistance to this process.

Earlier it became known that the acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan proposed to place observers on the border with Azerbaijan.
