The report has comprehensively reviewed the work practices and effectiveness of the country’s party style and clean government building and anti-corruption work over the past year.
The questionnaire survey results show that the anti-corruption high-pressure situation continues to be maintained, the anti-corruption system is pragmatic and effective, the political supervision effect is obvious, the integrity of public officials, the satisfaction and confidence of anti-corruption are high, the atmosphere of anti-corruption continues to grow strong, and the public is happy. The sense of gain and security is guaranteed.
From June to December 2020, the research team of the China Center for Integrity Research of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted "economic and social development and comprehensive strictness in 124 villages in 7 provinces (regions, cities), 14 districts and counties, 32 sub-districts (towns). "Party governance effectiveness" questionnaire survey, and 3702 valid questionnaires were recovered; from May to December, cadres, professional technicians, and enterprise managers in 14 districts and counties in 7 provinces (regions, cities) conducted a "comprehensive and strict governance". The "Party and Anti-Corruption Building" questionnaire survey collected 2163 valid questionnaires.
The results show that more than 80% of urban and rural residents believe that corruption has “significantly reduced” or “slightly reduced” compared with the previous year, and more than 90% of urban and rural residents are concerned about the construction of party style and clean government and the fight against corruption in the next 5 to 10 years. Have confidence.
The report also pointed out that there are still obstacles to promoting corruption.
For example, corruption risks and the phenomenon of seeking people for relationships still exist, bribery risks and costs are not high enough, society has a high tolerance for corruption, formalism and bureaucracy are still prominent, and information disclosure at the grassroots level is unbalanced.
In this regard, the report recommends to vigorously promote the construction of cleanliness, continue to maintain the anti-corruption and high-pressure situation, systematically control bribery, build a social foundation for anti-corruption, accurately control formalism and bureaucracy, continue to improve the quality of information disclosure, and adapt to the needs of modernization to improve "wisdom governance" "The level of the party and the state continues to release the effectiveness of the supervision system.
