President Moon Jae-in requested the National Assembly to resend the personnel hearing progress report on the candidate for Prosecutor General Kim O-soo.

Blue House spokesman Park Kyung-mi said, "President Moon requested that we send a report on the progress of a personnel hearing on candidate Kim in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 3 of the Personnel Hearing Act, at around 1:50 pm today (27th)."

The deadline for resending is until May 31, four days later.

Earlier, the National Assembly held a personnel hearing for Candidate Kim yesterday (26th), but it was broken after repeated criticism.

The adoption of Candidate Kim's hearing report was not adopted until yesterday, the deadline.

According to the Personnel Hearing Act, if the National Assembly exceeds the deadline, the President can request for resend by a fixed deadline within ten days, and if the National Assembly does not issue a report up to this deadline, the appointment can be enforced.
