“We fully support the decision of ICAO to conduct an open and independent investigation of the incident in Belarus and thank our international colleagues for their help in this matter,” TASS quoted the Irish Ministry of Transport as saying.

It notes that the interim results of the ICAO investigation should be provided by 25 June.

Earlier, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that on May 27, in Portugal, EU foreign ministers will discuss how to implement economic sanctions against Belarus.
