Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Gwang-jae, who was formerly a close friend of former President Roh Moo-hyun, officially declared a run for president.

Congressman Lee said, "We will create a country that meets the world's future first," and said, "It is necessary to have three beats of period change, generation change, and player change."



“We must lead Korea beyond the 7 major countries (G7) to the G5 and further to the G3. We must secure centripetal power through inter-Korean cooperation, and cooperate closely with China based on the ROK-US alliance. You have to make it."



Rep. Lee made a New Deal investment of KRW 190.7 billion in public funds and KRW 900 trillion in internal reserves for large corporations, suggesting a start-up country, a country of founding through the creation of digital economy jobs, and an era of 50 million culture and tourism industries.



In addition, we pledged to legislate the National Happiness Indicator, a revolution in tax expenditures including the efficiency of the budget for low birthrates and aging populations, and a residential city revolution including the establishment of a state institution for residential and urban research.



The president also mentioned diplomatic, security, and defense, and the reform of the electoral system and the responsible prime minister system, which is left to the prime minister who only carries out important tasks.
