The rainy weather has continued intensively in Sörmland and during the night, the rescue service has received several alarms about flooded and water-damaged houses. Early on Thursday morning, parts of road 53, between Spånga and Hossebo, were flooded, which has a major impact on traffic. - I have never seen anything like it, says freelance photographer Pontus Stenberg.
He says that several cars have been allowed to turn around from the scene.
- There is a lot of water, it is impossible to get past.
I think it is a river of 100 meters across the road, he says.
According to the Swedish Transport Administration's forecast, the problems on the road will be remedied by 11 am on Thursday.
