“It has been established that the 51-year-old driver of a KamAZ truck, moving from Tyumen towards Yekaterinburg, made a collision with a DAF truck,” the department said.

Then, by inertia, DAF collided with MAN, and then with Volvo, who were simultaneously standing at a red traffic light, where the bridge was being repaired.

The driver of KamAZ died on the spot.

The DAF driver underwent a medical examination and refused hospitalization.

The other two drivers were not injured.

The reasons for what happened are being established.
