May 26, 2021 South Tyrol says goodbye to age groups for anti-Covid vaccinations.

Tomorrow at noon all citizens of the Province of Bolzano who have reached the age of 18 will be able to book themselves for vaccination.

The decision was made because by now more than half of South Tyroleans between the ages of 40 and 49 have received the first dose, are booked for vaccination or have recovered from the infection.

Also from tomorrow it will be possible to download the South Tyrolean CoronaPass for those who have been vaccinated even with the first dose.

The Health Authority recommends making online reservations 24 hours a day and without waiting times. Those who cannot or do not want to book online can call the Single Booking Center from Monday to Friday, from 8 to 16. Especially in view of the next holidays - reminds the Health Authority - it is important to pay attention to when the second appointment will be scheduled. for the recall of vaccination. With the Pfizer-Biontech and Moderna vaccines, the booster takes place after 35 days, with the AstraZeneca vaccine after eleven weeks from the first dose. With the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, only one vaccination is sufficient. Also from tomorrow, the digital system will be adapted to the legislative decree of the President of Ministers on the CoronaPass.

From 6.00 pm onwards, even people vaccinated for the first time will be able to access the link and download the CoronaPass which will be valid only after 15 days from the date of the first vaccination.
