Three of the regular races are held on site in the Vasaloppet Arena based on current restrictions.
These are the elite versions of Cykelvasan 90, Ultravasan 90 and Ultravasan 45. And new for this year is that Cykelvasan 90 will be decided on a weekday evening, Thursday 19 August.
Exercisers can, just like last year, run their races at home in the so-called "Hemmavasan".
- Since the authorities do not have an exact schedule for when the restrictions can ease, we have chosen to invest in Hemmavasan.
Our participants can thus be sure of finishing and are free to choose a place, date and company, says Vasaloppet's CEO, Johan Eriksson.
The home vase means that you can drive wherever and whenever you want during the period 3 July – 22 August. It is possible to do it in the Vasaloppet arena, which will be open to exercisers, but due to the coronary restrictions, the Vasaloppet does not arrange an event on site.
