“We conduct daily monitoring of SARS-CoV-2 strains circulating in our country, not a single case of the Brazilian version of the coronavirus has been recorded in Russia,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

Earlier, the head of the state scientific center "Vector" Rinat Maksyutov said that variants of the Indian strain of coronavirus infection were detected in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Pskov region. 

Director of the Gamaleya Center Alexander Gunzburg noted that the Sputnik V vaccine will be effective against the Indian mutation of the coronavirus.
