Indirect talks between the United States and Iran to rebuild the Iran nuclear agreement have resumed.

While the de facto negotiation deadline will be extended one month later, the focus will be on whether we can compromise on the scope of sanctions lifting by the United States.

The United States and Iran have been holding indirect talks intermittently through the EU = European Union and other means in Vienna, the capital of Austria, since early April in order to rebuild the Iran nuclear agreement, and talks resumed on the 25th.

Prior to this, Iran and the IAEA = International Atomic Energy Agency have agreed to extend inspection cooperation for nuclear facilities in Iran, which was due in late May, until next month 24, and the de facto negotiation deadline is due. It is an extended form after one month.

An EU spokesman, an intermediary, told reporters after the plenary meeting, "We welcome the extension of the deadline, leaving room for diplomatic negotiations. Accelerate negotiation efforts toward an agreement. I will go. "

The presidential election is scheduled to be held in Iran on the 18th of next month, and while anti-American conservative hardliners are the most promising candidates, the countries concerned are aiming for an early conclusion with Iran.

However, in the negotiations so far, there is still a gap in the position regarding the scope of sanctions lifting by the United States, and the focus is on whether we can make a compromise in the future.
