The revelers had come from all over France, but also from Germany and the Netherlands.

During the weekend of Pentecost, several hundred people gathered for a clandestine party organized in a castle of Montguillon, in Maine-et-Loire.

According to information from the

Ouest-France

newspaper

, these 400 guests, most of whom did not know each other, would have even spent around 100 euros each to be able to participate.

The gathering, presented as a private party, was quickly interrupted by the gendarmes on Sunday.

About twenty people were reportedly fined, in particular for possession of narcotics.

The newspaper indicates that the owner of the premises will be fined "for the organization of a private party without respecting the sanitary rules in force".

The case may not end there since an investigation has been opened.

According to the

Courrier de l'Ouest

, "the offenses of concealed work and endangering the life of others could be retained" against the organizer of the evening.
