As he told RIA Novosti, the airliner of the Belarusian airline "Belavia" did not enter the airspace of Poland because of the French ban on flying over its territory.
“Our services conveyed information to the crew of this aircraft that the French services had blocked the entry of all Belarusian aircraft into their airspace,” he said.
According to him, after that, the crew itself began to decide what to do next.
Lukashevich stressed that Poland "did not close its airspace for aircraft from Belarus."
Earlier it was reported that Poland did not let the Belavia plane en route to Barcelona.
