It was on May 15 that human remains were found in a forest area outside Boden.

According to the police, it was an adult.

The police began a preliminary investigation with the heading suspected murder.

After this, the findings were sent for examination and analysis to the Forensic Medicine Agency.

After an initial assessment, the criminal classification was changed from murder to death without suspicion of crime.

The documents that have been found indicate that the person comes from another country.

Therefore, the police have asked questions to the country in question, to try to establish the identity.
