Asphalting on several parts of the E4, adaptation to a meeting-free road in several places, and large buildings in Gothenburg with daily blasting.

These are some of the summer road works that the Swedish Transport Administration believes will have a major impact on car traffic.

Limited traffic and lower speeds mean that road users must take it easy - and be out in good time.

The Swedish Transport Administration tries to lay the buildings so that they disturb as few as possible:

- It is clear that many people drive a car even during the holidays, but it is still a little smaller and the traffic more dispersed, which makes it a little easier to handle, says Jonas Eliasson, accessibility director at the Swedish Transport Administration.

Here are all the major road works to be carried out in Sweden this summer.
