A British drug dealer posted a picture of her cheese online and was caught by the police for exposing her fingerprints.

According to the BBC on the 26th, the Liverpool court in Merseyside, England, sentenced Carl Stewart, 39, who was charged with supplying drugs such as cocaine and heroin, to a sentence of 13 years in prison on the 21st.

The decisive clue to the arrest was a photo Stuart posted on the secret messenger application EncroChat.

He shared a picture of a piece of cheese he liked in the palm of his hand, and the police did not miss it, extracted fingerprints by forensic, and identified him.

Incrochat is known to be mainly used by criminals who participate in drug sales and money laundering, and the police watched it as 10,000 out of 60,000 users were estimated to be British.

Police said Stewart's love of cheese led to arrest. "I looked at the picture and analyzed his palms and fingerprints. It was a picture that the owner of the palm posted himself."

In the past, British police arrested a criminal by extracting fingerprints from photos.

In 2010, the police extracted fingerprints from a picture of a netizen's palm while holding a mobile phone while wearing a watch that was reported to be stolen and arrested.

In 2018, South Wales police even brought convictions by submitting data that analyzed photos of a suspect's palm to the court.
