A 16-year-old teenager was arrested Monday evening around 11 p.m. in Villefranche-Sur-Saône (Rhône) when he had just thrown projectiles at a police car, a quarter of an hour earlier.
The minor was not alone since he was with other individuals who had not been identified by the investigators.
The officers had to use tear gas to disperse the group that came to attack them.
The boy did not put up any resistance during his arrest, we learn from the Lyon police.
During his police custody, he said he had acted in this way because "he did not like the police".
He will be presented to the Villefranche minor prosecutor's office on Wednesday, where he will have to answer for willful violence against a police officer.
