On April 18, the Haute-Garonne firefighters, called to put out a burning car in a field in the town of Clermont-le-Fort, discovered the charred body of a man inside.

More than a month later, the investigation carried out by the gendarmes of Haute-Garonne has just resulted in the indictment and imprisonment of three young people aged 18 to 21 for "murder in an organized gang" according to

La Dépêche du Midi

.

A fourth, who had gone to recover the other three in Clermont-le-Fort by car, was indicted for "non-denunciation of a crime" and placed under judicial supervision.

Unknown to the legal services, these young people obtained drugs from the 31-year-old victim according to the first elements of the investigation.

Drug trafficking

The day of his death, they had picked him up in downtown Toulouse by car, the same one in which he was found dead.

The latter belonged to one of the members of the indicted trio, whose plate could be identified thanks to video surveillance.

The images also showed the victim getting into the car where an exchange of beatings took place, even before the fatal gunshot.

The fatally injured man had a well-organized drug trade, especially among wealthy customers, including the three young people indicted who had already bought drugs from him.
