At Solvikskolan in Järna, south of Södertälje, teachers are accused of having offended students as part of an anthroposophical approach, according to Jasper Lake's SVT documentary that came out earlier in May.

In addition to bullying and physical violence, the school must also have shown a contempt for knowledge.

Despite the fact that the school's management has known about the violations since 2019, an investigation will only be appointed now.

Whether it will be an external one is still unclear.

- We are organizing this.

It is not yet clear yet who will do it and exactly how it will go, says school principal Peter Friemann to Läraren.

Assessment in progress

Andreas Gydingsgård, head of department at the Swedish Schools Inspectorate, states that they have not decided what to do.

- We have received information, in this case from the media, and an assessment is underway, he says.

The Waldorf Federation, which brings together the schools, is waiting to decide whether there is continued confidence in Solvikskolan.

The chairman, Maria Norberg, says that work is now beginning on developing a common set of values for the Waldorf School Federation's member schools.
