The parties believe that the budget proposal means a major investment in strong and sustainable welfare.

Among other things, the parties want to give SEK 330 million more to the welfare committees, where ten million will go to increase the basic staffing in elderly care.

The parties also want to invest another million in wellness for the employees.

- Our idols, our welfare workers in the municipality, have worked very hard during the pandemic and it is now also necessary that they get health care to recover and train their body, says municipal councilor Hans Lindberg (S).

The parties want to invest more in the climate and therefore want to employ two sustainability strategists in municipal procurement.

The two strategists are estimated to cost 1.3 million annually.

Eight million will also be given to public transport according to the parties' budget proposals.

M presents alternative budget

The moderate municipal councilor Anders Ågren does not want to comment on the budget proposal.

The Moderates will present their alternative budget proposal next Tuesday.

- We have taken note of their proposal and are working on our alternative budget proposal now, says Anders Ågren (M).
