According to her, Berlin welcomed Washington's refusal of sanctions against the project operator, Nord Stream 2 AG.
“After all, in one way or another, we were very critical of extraterritorial sanctions, regardless of where they are applied,” the Chancellor stressed.
Earlier, the German Chancellor said that Washington's decision to suspend sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 operator Nord Stream 2 AG is a step towards Germany.
