The relevant measures are as follows:

  1. Applicable objects

  Chinese citizens' passports are valid for less than 3 months (including expired), newborns, etc. can apply for passports through online appointment channels.

Those who have expired both Chinese passports and Spanish residence permits can still apply for a passport by email appointment. For details, please refer to https://www.fmprc.gov.cn/ce/cees/chn/lqsw/t1859344.htm.

  Second, the application process

  Make an appointment online → go to the site to organize the materials → mail the materials → receive the old and new passports from the embassy.

  (1) Online appointment

  The website of the passport online appointment system is http://ppt.mfa.gov.cn.

After making an appointment, please download the form and instructions in time.

If you do not receive the information pushed by the system after making an appointment, please log in to the appointment system with your computer and click "Cancel or Change Appointment". After entering, there is a button on the far right that is "Download Application Form". Click to download.

  (2) In order to alleviate the inconvenience of scanning application materials for overseas Chinese and improve work efficiency, those who have successfully made an appointment should bring the materials directly to the following locations from June 12 to 15. The local overseas Chinese group volunteers will provide you with voluntary and free assistance to help you Organize the materials to ensure that the application requirements are met, and avoid the incomplete application materials from affecting the progress of the application.

  The application materials include:

  1. The original passport, a copy of the first page of the passport (the page containing personal information such as the name and date of birth), and a copy of the name addition page (if any);

  2. Two 2-inch ID photos.

One photo is pasted in the photo pasting place of the "Passport/Travel Permit Application Form", and the other photo is packed in a small bag;

  3. Copies of documents that can prove to be in Spain: such as residence card (front and back) or visa page or driver's license (front and back) or home certificate, etc.;

  4. The signed "Passport/Travel Permit Application Form" (the minor should be signed by the legal guardian);

  5. The signed "Declaration of Nationality Status" (Minors are signed by legal guardians);

  6. The signed "Signature Collection Form" (Please refer to the signature style and fill it out carefully and clearly above the horizontal line near the horizontal line. This signature will be printed on the passport and may be compared when entering and leaving the customs. Applicants who are over 10 years old must sign in person, and those who are under 10 years old do not need to fill in);

  7. The signed "Informed Consent Form Not to Collect Fingerprints" (signature only by applicants over 16 years old);

  9. Completed "Return Address Form";

  10. Signed "Supplementary Instructions for Applying for Passport/Travel Certificate" (to be filled in in the case of lost or damaged passport, travel certificate, etc.), and handwritten signature after printing (minors are signed by legal guardians).

Please be sure to fill in your Chinese ID number or Chinese household registration address;

  11. Other materials required by the staff.

  Among the above-mentioned materials, 1-3 individuals prepare by themselves; 4-7 make an appointment to print on the website; 8 obtain it when paying by bank or mobile phone; 9-11 can be downloaded in the attachment of this article.

Be sure to use a black pen for signing.

  The applicant himself brings the above-mentioned materials, and the volunteers of the overseas Chinese delegation will sort out the materials submitted by the applicant on the spot, and supplement the materials as appropriate.

The sorted materials will be stamped with the association seal, and the application materials that have not been sorted and stamped on site will be returned.

  note:

  1. If the applicant is a minor, please bring the original birth certificate or LIBRO DE FAMILIA, and one of the parents will accompany the applicant to the on-site pre-trial with the original passport or residence permit.

If the parents are unable to go, they must issue a notarized certificate at the notary office, and entrust a guardian to apply for them;

  2. If it is the first time for a newborn to apply for a passport, one parent needs to accompany the newborn to the on-site pre-trial, bring the passports of both parents and the original and photocopy of the residence, the birth certificate of the newborn or LIBRO DE FAMILIA, and fill in the "Agree to apply for a passport for the newborn." Statement.

If the birth certificate of the newborn or the name on LIBRO DE FAMILIA has double surnames, foreign names or spaces, you need to fill in the "Supplementary Notes on Passport Names".

  (3) Mailing materials

  After finishing the materials, applicants are requested to place the above materials, the original passport and 2 ID photos in a sealable plastic folder in order, and mail them to the consular office of the embassy.

It is recommended to choose the Spanish post office first for mailing.

  (4) Receive passport

  After the new passport is produced, the embassy will return the cancelled original passport to the applicant according to the return address.

If the return delivery fails, the post office will return the passport to the embassy.

The embassy will contact the applicant and guide the applicant to apply for a return post again.

  Three, special reminder

  (1) In view of the fact that the fingerprint information of the applicant cannot be collected when applying for a passport in the “no-meet” way, the new passport does not contain the fingerprint information of the holder, and it is not possible to self-service customs clearance when entering China, and it is necessary to go through a manual passage.

  (2) Regarding photos.

One photo is pasted in the photo pasting place of the "Passport/Travel Permit Application Form", and the other photo is packed in a small bag (photo requirements: frontal color photo within 6 months, white background, dark clothes, visible ears, no Headwear and earrings, no shadows on the face or background, and forehead not covered by hair, size 48mm*33mm, must be washed by a photo studio or printed on professional photo printing paper, no photos can be modified, and no composite photos can be used.

  (3) Regarding the signing of the "Signature Collection Form".

Applicants must refer to the signature style and fill in carefully and clearly above the horizontal line near the horizontal line. This signature will be printed on the passport and may be compared when entering and exiting the customs.

Applicants who are over 10 years old should sign in person, and those under 10 years old don’t need to fill in.

  (4) About mailing.

Please be sure to fill in the recipient's address in the "Return Address List" (specific to the house number).

  (5) No fees will be charged for finishing materials on site, and all on-site staff are volunteers from overseas Chinese groups.
