Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that an Israeli commando force assassinated today, Tuesday, the young Ahmed Jamil from Al-Amari camp near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, while a Palestinian human rights association announced that the occupation forces arrested 19 Palestinians in the West Bank last night.

The Palestinian youth was shot dead by Israeli special forces, in the town of "Umm Al-Sharayet" near Ramallah, in the center of the occupied West Bank.

Munir al-Jaghoub, a media official in the Mobilization and Organization Commission of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah), said that a special force (undercover) shot the young man from the Al-Amari refugee camp while he was in the town of Umm Al-Sharayet, and that led to his death.

In the context, the Palestinian Prisoners Club Association said that the occupation forces arrested 19 Palestinians in the West Bank last night, including a woman and her daughter.

Arrests Green Line

In the 48 lands, the Israeli police carried out a massive campaign of arrests among Palestinians who participated in the protests against the violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the condemnation of the war on Gaza in recent weeks.

The authorities accuse the detainees of assaulting police personnel, disturbing public order, possession of weapons and sabotaging public property.

The campaign came with a political decision, and Arab human rights activists described it as a campaign of revenge and intimidation aimed at subjugating Arabs to Israel's racist policies.
