REPORTAGE

In the United States, we are preparing to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of George Floyd, on May 25, 2020. After the big demonstrations of last summer and the verdict in the Chauvin trial last month, rallies were organized, Sunday, in several American cities in memory of this African American, who has become a symbol of the fight across the Atlantic against police violence and racism.

In New York, protesters chanted the name of George Floyd.

For his brother, Terrence Floyd, the mobilization must continue: "Stay awake so that the names of my brother and all the other victims still resonate. As long as we continue to make their names resonate, justice will remain on the path of change" , he harangued.
