China News Service, May 24. According to Kyodo News Agency of Japan, on the 23rd, an "in-flight wedding" was held on an All Nippon Airways International Airline Boeing 777 aircraft parked at Tokyo's Haneda Airport.

Affected by the new crown epidemic, All Nippon Airways continues to drastically reduce flights, and holding weddings is one of the measures to make use of idle aircraft.

This move will end in June, and a total of 7 couples will have weddings.

According to reports, Tokyo’s tax accountant Toru Murakami and dentist Asami hosted the wedding on the 23rd.

In the departure hall, spectators and staff tossed paper airplanes to greet them, and then boarded the large passenger plane 777-300ER named "ANA Flight 8888."

The pilot and the cabin crew sent congratulatory messages in a tone that imitated the broadcast on the plane.

According to reports, the couple originally only planned to take wedding photos, and signed up after learning about the event.

The groom said: "Because I like airplanes, I made a decision right away. It's a wonderful time like a dream."

The bride also said with satisfaction: "I thought it was impossible to hold a wedding under the epidemic. It was really good."

The seats and other specifications of passenger aircraft on international routes are different from those on domestic routes, and the frequency of use has dropped sharply during the epidemic.

Considering that many new couples are unable to hold weddings due to the epidemic, ANA planned this event.

In addition, All Nippon Airways has also launched various initiatives such as using the Airbus A380, a super-large passenger aircraft that originally flew the Hawaii route, to carry out sightseeing flights.
