This was reported by the Kommersant newspaper.

"On May 11, the Moscow Arbitration Court accepted the suit of the American Google LLC against Roskomnadzor, filed on April 23," the newspaper writes.

As noted, the lawsuit is related to the issue of recognizing illegal actions to restrict access to an information resource.

Roskomnadzor clarified that we are talking about the requirement to block 12 links to "illegal content" posted on the video hosting YouTube, owned by Google.

Earlier, Roskomnadzor reported that it had identified cases of posting illegal materials on Facebook and YouTube. The regulator warned that if the platforms do not take action, they could be subject to sanctions.
