WHO

, relating to yesterday, the number of new infections from Covid on the planet has continued to record a slightly decreasing trend. The new infections were in fact 563,692, down by 43,989 units compared to 607,681 the previous day, which in turn were down by 12,753 cases compared to Friday. The deaths were instead 12,457, a figure almost identical to that of the previous day. This is a situation that denotes the settling of the pandemic at levels that are still too high to be considered reassuring.



At the level of individual countries, the

United States

they remain by far the most affected nation with 589,893 deaths out of 33,117,656 infections even if at the moment the world outbreak of the pandemic is undoubtedly India where 222,315 new infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours as well as 4,454 further deaths from Covid.



Over 300,000 deaths from Covid-19 have been recorded in
