In order not to arouse suspicion, they had created no less than 120 mailboxes and used ten different bank cards.

Two 28-year-old twin sisters were arrested this week in Toulouse by the police, suspected of having swindled the drive of a Purpan supermarket.

Last March, the brand filed a complaint against customers who had a well-established system to considerably reduce their shopping bills. After ordering and paying on the Internet, the two young women came to collect their products at the drive. But, they rarely failed to make a complaint by email, indicating that a food was missing or that it did not match. And they were thus reimbursed.

The twins would thus have done for 3,800 euros of shopping between June 2019 and March 2021 at this brand and would have been reimbursed 2,300 euros.

Until the store discovered the doldrums and investigators tracked them down using their bank card and video surveillance.

Summoned, they admitted the facts, indicating that they had done so because of financial concerns.

They are summoned in the coming months for a plea-guilty hearing.
