“The Webby Awards are rightfully considered the most prestigious digital award in the world.

To receive the highest award from the Academy is a great success, which we are proud of and congratulate our artists, colleagues and partners - everyone who worked on the project and supported us, ”said the creative director of RT, author of the idea for the Victory Pages project Kirill Karnovich-Valois.

The main Webby Awards for Social / Features: Best Use of Stories went to Instagram's Infinite Letter.

The project, created in collaboration with students of the RANEPA School of Design and professional graphic artists Mikhail Sorkin and Petr Bankov, combines lines from front letters with illustrations based on them.

“Endless Letter” was created as part of the large-scale multimedia project RT # Pages of Victory, which tells the story of the Great Patriotic War through the prism of new media and digital art on five platforms: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte and YouTube. #Winning Pages have already received international awards from The Drum Awards for Online Media, ADC Awards, Shorty Awards, Lovie Awards, Red Dot, Digiday and others.

Earlier, RT repeatedly became the owner of the Webby Awards based on the results of audience voting. In 2020, the RT documentary "Lessons from Auschwitz" received an award in two nominations. RT topped the list of companies, thanks to whose victories Russia for the first time entered the ranking of the most successful countries in the digital sphere at the end of the year (International Webby Winner Index). In 2018, the award was won by the RT channel # 1917LIVE project dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the revolution in Russia and recreating the events of those days “in real time” on Twitter. In 2016, the RT digital projects group won.
