“Almost seven out of ten respondents (68%) assess the USE negatively and believe that it should be canceled ... On the contrary, 16% of Russians have an extremely positive attitude to the USE.

Among their arguments are the minimization of corruption when entering universities, the possibility of an objective comparison of the quality of school education in different regions and schools.

The Unified State Exam was also called a social lift for talented applicants from the provinces, ”analysts say.

A poll among the most interested part of the population - parents of eleventh graders - also showed a decrease in the number of USE supporters.

So, in 2011, the state exam was positively assessed by 26% of the parents of graduates, today - only 15%.

At the same time, there are almost twice as many supporters of the USE among young people under 24 (30%).

Those who have a negative attitude to the exam are more among respondents aged 35 to 44 and over 45 (76% and 75%, respectively).

A total of 1.6 thousand Russians from all districts of the country took part in the survey.

Earlier, experts from the Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements talked about the most common mistakes on the exam.

The director of the Institute of Progressive Education Anna Marks earlier also suggested to the head of the Ministry of Education of Russia Sergei Kravtsov to introduce a “day of self-education” for eleventh graders in order to more effectively prepare for the Unified State Exam.
