China News Service, May 19th. According to a comprehensive report by the Canadian "Sing Tao Daily", British Columbia, Canada, announced the latest regulations that if you don't wear a mask when exercising in indoor public fitness facilities, you will be fined.

The Minister of Public Safety in British Columbia announced the policy change on Tuesday (18th), saying it reflects the latest guidelines from provincial health officials on indoor sports.

The new guidelines now require masks to be worn during exercise in public fitness facilities, whereas previously it was only required when in other areas of the fitness facility.

These facilities include a gym, fitness room and dance studio.

Police and other law enforcement officials can enforce the new rules based on the situation. Those who do not wear masks in indoor public places may be fined 230 Canadian dollars.

The provincial government's statement stated that the new regulations on masks ensure the coordination and consistency of measures to respond to the epidemic.

Masks or face masks under the new regulations are defined as medical or non-medical masks that can cover the mouth and nose.

The panel cannot replace the mask because it has an opening under it.

People who have health problems, or have physical, cognitive or mental disabilities who cannot wear a mask are exempted from wearing a mask; children under 12 do not need to wear a mask, but if they are over 2 years old, it is recommended to wear a mask.

At least until the long weekend in May, indoor group sports for adults are still prohibited, including low-intensity and high-intensity courses, but private courses are not included.
