The Palestinian resistance bombed a number of Israeli military bases, and fired missiles at several cities, one of which fell on a main road between Ashdod and Tel Aviv, in response to the ongoing Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip for 9 days.

Videos showed a fire that broke out in the Dakhil Valley, east of Ashdod, as a result of the fall of one of the missiles, and the Iron Dome system's attempts to intercept some of the missiles.

Al-Jazeera correspondent said that a batch of Palestinian factions' rockets reached Ashkelon and other locations further afield within the Gaza envelope, as well as massive missile launches in the northern regions of Ashdod.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - said that it targeted military bases in Hatzor, Hasarim, Nevatim, Tal Nof, Palmachim and Ramon.

On the other hand, Israel continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, as the occupation warplanes carried out more than 50 raids in the southern Gaza Strip in the last hours, one of which caused a martyr and 5 wounded in Khan Yunis and Rafah (southern Gaza).

Israeli raids also targeted west of Nuseirat (central Gaza Strip), leaving a number of wounded.
