But the willingness to get vaccinated varies between different groups in the population.

Despite the fact that most foreign-born people living in Värmland are younger than those who have so far had the opportunity to book vaccinations, the Värmland region already sees that the willingness to vaccinate in those groups is lower.

- It is a bit too early to draw any major conclusions, but we see tendencies that there is a difference between different groups in society, says Anders Nordmark, vaccine coordinator for the Värmland region.

One explanation may be language difficulties, which in itself can cause a delay, rather than many people not choosing to get vaccinated.

But to reach as many people as possible, the region uses several different channels - everything from information in different languages to collaborating with the municipalities and getting help from various organizations that have contact with foreign-born or socially disadvantaged people.

Hear the vaccine coordinator talk about the difficulties of getting time for vaccination and what the planning looks like for other groups in the future.
