It was in January this year that the police arrested the armed man after a check, at Grubbe in Umeå.

The district court takes a serious view of the gun crime as the weapons he had with him, knives, knuckle irons and batons are classified as particularly dangerous street weapons.

During a house search of his home the same day, the police found more weapons, but also drugs.

In his freezer was found 137 grams of cocaine packed in capsules intended for swallowing. The man himself said that it was not his own drugs but that he kept it for another person he does not want to name and that he did it to finance his own drug abuse.

Found two revolvers

The apartment also contained two revolvers that required a permit intended for explosive and launch shots.

Elsewhere, small amounts of cocaine and amphetamine were also found.

The man, who has been convicted on six previous occasions, is now sentenced to two years and two months in prison.

The district court finds him guilty of a serious drug offense, minor weapon offense and violation of the Knife Prohibition Act.
