• Yann Wehrling, Emmanuel Pruvost, Marie-Eve Perru, Mathieu Cuip, Olivier Blond: Valérie Pécresse has invested five green personalities on her lists, including one from civil society.

  • "We have radically renewed the lists, we have two thirds of new candidates," proclaims the candidate for regional elections in Ile-de-France.

  • Among the famous personalities, we find two boxers, Jean-Marc Mormeck and Ali Oubaali, the former world athletics champion Christine Arron, the actor Benoit Solès or the chef Babette de Rozières.

She claims that her conversion to ecology is not new. And to prove it, Valérie Pécresse, candidate for the regional elections of Ile-de-France, has decided to invest five environmentalists on her lists. In good place, a notorious outgoing, Yann Wehrling, founder of the Party of Nature and former national secretary of the Greens (2005-2006), elected under the aegis of the president of Ile-de-France in 2015. But also of new faces. "We have deeply renewed the lists, we have two thirds of new candidates", indicates in the preamble of her press conference presenting her lists the president of the Free party!

Thus appear two members of the Movement of independent ecologists (MEI), created by Antoine Waechter, former candidate of the Greens in the presidential election of 1988. Emmanuel Pruvost, delegate general of the MEI in Ile-de-France, and director Ehpad, and Marie-Eve Perru, secretary general of the MEI, engineer.

Antoine Waechter, who does not live in Ile-de-France, is himself a supporter of the list.

Olivier Blond, former president of Respire

The former minister of Nicolas Sarkozy has also debauched former supporters of Emmanuel Macron.

This is the case of Mathieu Cuip, secretary general of the Union of Centrists and Ecologists (UCE).

Christophe Madrolle, president of the UCE, supports the list.

A personality from the associative world completes the picture: Olivier Blond, who chaired Respire a few weeks ago, and wishes to install air purifiers in schools - he is the author of a study on the subject.

"It was necessary to make room for civil society" justified Valérie Pécresse, following criticism from Rachida Dati, who had initially refused her support because of the situation of some LR running mate, located in non-eligible places.

The lists still show 65 mayors (out of 209 candidates), as noted by a colleague from BFM TV.

Two boxers and professions of the order "very well represented"

The average age is 45 years, Valérie Pécresse boasting of a "list which puts the foot in the stirrup to the young generations". There are several students and students, including Laura Bellois, the youngest of 21, elected in Osny. The list, promises the candidate, also reflects “the socio-professional diversity of the region”. "The professions of order and security are very well represented", insisted Valérie Pécresse, with in particular at the head of the list in Paris the former director general of the National Police, Frédéric Péchenard, or the lawyer Thibault de Montbrial . There are also five farmers, 14 personalities from the world of education and people of culture, including the actor Benoît Solès or the chef Babette de Rozières.

Finally, we will find in these lists the passion of Valérie Pécresse for boxing, since there appear, next to great sportsmen (the former world athletics champion Christine Arron, in particular) two boxers, Jean-Marc Mormeck and Ali Oubaali , both multiple world champion.
