The County Administrative Board has now decided that the speed north of the Munsjö Bridge will be limited to 12 knots.
In the canal at Slottsbron and past the guest harbor, the speed will be limited to 5 cups.
The speed limits will take effect on June 11, 2021.
Opinions about jet skiing along the shores of Lake Vättern and on Munksjön in central Jönköping were sharp during the summer of 2020. At the beginning of June, a jet ski collided with a competition rower on Munksjön and then the criticism escalated.
