Silversleven is awarded to a journalist in northern Norrland who "stirred" through his work.

This is how the Publicist Club writes in the motivation:

“Through a large presence and careful storytelling, a problem that has existed for a long time in the youth activities is highlighted.

A report that led to Björklöven sending out a questionnaire to 1000 people, players, parents and others involved in the youth activities.

The leisure committee in Umeå also raised Björklöven's youth activities at its meeting as part of an issue.

The review was also noticed by several newsrooms at local and national level and created a debate in SVT's national news. ”

The review received a great response and led to extensive value-based work in Björklöven.

- Neither I nor Björklöven's CEO Anders Blomberg have probably ever been so belittled as after that reporting.

It also led to extensive value-based work being done in the club and in other parts of hockey Sweden, says Josefine Holgersson.

How does it feel to be nominated?

- It's great fun.

A year like 2020, when the new Children's Convention Act came into force, was a good start.

I also think that it was strong of the young people who chose to tell about the situation.

It takes a lot of courage to make your voice heard in that way at that age, says Josefine Holgersson.

The winner will be tentatively announced on Saturday 19 June.

The other nominees are:

Folkbladet

Camilla Stenlund for the review of the work environment in Skellefteå municipality under the heading "Shut up and obey".

Sami radio

Maria Dahlgren for her way of highlighting conflicts between reindeer husbandry and other land users in the reportage series "Marken Krymper".

Norran

Jenny Petersson and Ulrika Nohlgren for the revelation of conflict culture in Skellefteå municipality.
