Secretary of State Sophie Cluzel, who supports LR Renaud Muselier's list for regional Paca without appearing there, on Tuesday called LR deputy Eric Ciotti to clarify the situation by joining the National Gathering.

"The masks have fallen, I think that Eric Ciotti, he must go to the end, he is already an accomplice of the National Gathering, well he adheres to the National Gathering, it will be much clearer for everyone. world, "said Ms. Cluzel on France 2.

The LR federation of the Alpes-Maritimes, led by Eric Ciotti, announced on Monday that it was withdrawing its support for Renaud Muselier's list for the June election on which there are presidential majority candidates.

Eric Ciotti has also drawn sharp criticism from the left and in the majority, for having recently asserted that what "differentiates" his party from the National Rally is the "ability to govern".

"Of course this is a list of support for government policy, we have a recovery plan, we must be ready for our region", also assured the Secretary of State for People with disabilities, for whom "the victory is near, we must campaign, it has only just begun ".

"It was a question of not being a brake, I always made prevail the collective interest on the personal interest, it is my DNA", she explained to justify her absence on the list.

The announcement at the beginning of May of an alliance in Paca between LR and LREM by Prime Minister Jean Castex, had caused a real psychodrama within the Republicans, Christian Estrosi and Hubert Falco even slamming the door of the party.

"No device agreement with LREM", neither ministers nor LREM deputies on his list: Mr. Muselier believes he has kept his commitments to his political family.

But the soap opera is not over since LR's strategic committee meets on Tuesday to rule once again on this thorny issue which presages political recompositions in view of the presidential election of 2022.
