This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Attorney General.

“The suspected people's deputy deposited his foreign and diplomatic passports with the pre-trial investigation body,” UNIAN quotes a message from the press service.

It is noted that Medvedchuk did this by a court decision.

On May 13, a court in Kiev sent Medvedchuk under house arrest until July 9 inclusive.

The politician himself called the charges against him politically motivated.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine reported that Medvedchuk and his associate Taras Kozak are suspected of high treason and plundering of national resources in Crimea.
