RT's Endless Letter project, combining lines from front-line letters and illustrations to them, won the Social Good Campaign, Best Use of Instagram and Storytelling categories. In addition, RT's work won gold for Best Use of Instagram Stories. "Endless Letter" was created in collaboration with students of the RANEPA School of Design and professional graphic artists Mikhail Sorkin and Petr Bankov.

The video series "War: Children's Drawings in VR-Animation" became the winner in the "Virtual Reality" category both by the decision of the jury and by the audience voting.

This work also won silver in the Short Form Video nomination.

The project presents children's wartime drawings in the interpretation of famous artists working in the genre of virtual animation.

The Animated Frames series of animated photographs from the war won first place in the Images category.

"Endless Letter", "Children's Drawings in VR Animation" and "Animated Frames" were created as part of the documentary project RT #PagesVictory, which tells the story of the Great Patriotic War through the prism of new media and digital art on five platforms: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. VKontakte and YouTube.

Ruptly, RT's international multimedia video agency, won the Live Event Coverage category.

The agency was broadcasting live from Beirut, where powerful explosions occurred in August 2020.

Ruptly's Redfish media platform won first place in the Best Use of Instagram Video category by users.

The Redfish team conducts their own investigations and creates short documentaries on socio-economic issues.

The Shorty Awards are a prestigious annual award for social media promotion.

In 2021, the award was held for the 13th time.
